Xinrui School

Xinrui School consists of Xinrui Business School (XBS) and Beijing Xinrui Mundell Academy of Entrepreneurship, respectively registered and operated in Switzerland and in Beijing. Professor He Zhiyi of Peking University holds the first president of the school and Professor Edmund Strother Phelps of Columbia University, Nobel Prize winner in Economics holds the honorary president.

The development of Xinrui School began in 2013 with the establishment of Xinrui Business School (formerly known as Newhuadu Business School in Switzerland) which was regarded as a private Chinese higher education institution with a dedication to cultivating global talent abroad and encouraged by governments at all levels. In 2013, in the presence of Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Ueli Maurer, Chairman of Swiss Federal Council, several cooperative school-running agreements were signed by Xinrui School and the University of Zurich. This was a clear manifestation of China's encouragement to internationalize Chinese private education institutions with Xinrui School as the respective.

Xinrui School adheres to the two orientations of entrepreneurial innovation and venture capital as well as internationalization and cultural exchange. In terms of entrepreneurship and innovation education, it focuses on the development of entrepreneurs and is the first business school to concentrate on entrepreneurship training. Xinrui School has explored a creative curriculum system that takes new business as its basic concept and apprenticeship as features. The school brings together core teachers, investment institutions, entrepreneurs and other cooperative institutions to create an ecosystem that supports entrepreneurial education and incorporates capital to improve student business growth.

In terms of internationalization, Xinrui School has independently established a business school in Switzerland; it has jointly run a school with the University of Zurich and has founded the Swiss-China Enterprise Case Study Center; it is undertaking a joint doctoral research project with the Federal Institute of Technology Risk Management in Zurich. Additionally, innovative education and venture capital and entrepreneurship incubation projects have been launched to promote cross-cultural management talent and entrepreneurship for multinationals, while at the same time improving Xinrui School's innovation education and entrepreneurship training, thus creating a forum for Swiss-Chinese education, enhanced by corporate and cultural excursions.

Since its inception, Xinrui School has organized 17 high-end education and training projects, including MBA, EMBA, Chinese youth entrepreneurship education, Pudong returnees entrepreneurship, cross-cultural management training of non-Chinese employees in Swiss and European companies, MAS program co-organized with the University of Zurich and Qianlong project. It has trained 3,730 students as of now.
